It was argued that Canadian investors have done well with the commodities boom. However, with the boom we have seen the Canadian dollar rise and our manufacturing sector shrink.
When the boom ends our manufacturing sector will not be able to pick up the slack.
The dollar will fall and the economy will stumble. Of course the researchers don't tell us when this will happen and they still like Canada as a place to invest. |
